Summary: Sho and Jun had a relationship with ups and downs, but then, Sho betrayes Jun and his whole world crashes down when Jun had a car accident. Six months later, Sho wants to be with Jun again, but, can that be possible?

“I'm coming!”  I exclaimed as I heard the bell ringing several times incessantly. I left the kitchen and went to the door, opening it quickly, meeting Nino behind it.
.
“What do you do? It took you an eternity to open the door.”  he said in a greeting, entering the apartment and removing his jacket.
.
“I was preparing something to eat, I was hungry.”  I answered taking his jacket and hanging it while he took off his shoes.
.
“Excellent, I'll have lunch too. I just hope you do not poison me or anything like that.”  Nino laughed.
.
“You're a clown, come on in. Help me set the table.”
.
After lunch, Nino decided to stay a little longer; So, while we were on the couch, he was drinking a fruit juice and I a cup of coffee, we talked about us.
.
“You know something, Sho? I'm going to accept a new script...”
.
“Oh! Really? Tell me what it is about.”  I said totally surprised.
.
“I'm going to the theater.”  he answered with a huge smile.
.
“Are you going to act in a play? Sugoii... a long time since you did a play. I hope that it goes excellent, although, you already know that.”
.
"I'll have a meeting with the director today, then I'll tell you exactly what it's about, if I tell you now, I'll ruin everything." I nodded and Nino smiled again.
.
“I'll wait for your call impatiently. I believe that I will also start a new project; As my manager told me, they want to do a live action and are thinking about me...”  I sighed.  “And I really get excited, I have a good time without acting.”
.
“We must be proactive like we were months ago. If not, everybody will be ahead of us, and our fans will forget us.”
.
“You think?”  I asked, raising an eyebrow.
.
“I don’t think, our fans are unique and they will not abandon us, but we shouldn’t disappear either.”  said my best friend before drinking another juice.
.
“Hey, Nino ... how's he doing?”   I asked after a while. I needed to know about Jun.
.
“Are you talking about J?”  Nino raised his eyebrows and sighed. “He's fine, you know, in rehab yet, but he's getting better and better. As he told me the last time we met, it is likely that within two months he will be fully recovered. He's working hard, I've never seen him so committed...”
.
“Has he asked for me?”  I dared to ask.
.
“Well... he asked me about you like a couple of times, but... J just talks about recovering and getting back to work. It seemed he could only think of that.”
.
A bittersweet feeling washed over me; I was happy to know that Jun was struggling to recover, but it also hurt a little that I had been so far removed from his life. Although being honest, I deserved this, it's just... it's not the same to call the devil, than seeing it in front of your eyes.
.
“I want to see him.”  I said without thinking twice.
.
“No. I don’t know about that, Sho. And you're not going to use me for it...”
.
“But, Nino. You're the only one who can help me, Riida is too reasonable, and Aiba is afraid of Jun.”  I replied looking at Kazunari pleadingly.
.
“That is, so, the foolish and insane here is me.”  He said, folding his arms.
.
“No Nino, but you're my best friend, you know that these months without seeing him have been like hell, and you could do something to help me.”
.
“No. I shouldn’t, no matter how much my best friend you are, and no matter how suffering you are, you behaved like a jerk with J, don’t think that because I forgave you, he did as well. You hurt his pride, not to mention his feelings.”  I sighed loudly.
.
“Nino, if you're going to come with that, you better not help me, I know I screwed up Jun's life, you don’t have to come and tell me that again.”  Nino looked at me with a grimace and sighed.
.
“I'll see what I can do for you...”  he said after a long second.  “But, I will not assure you anything, don’t get excited. You know how your ex is, he's a bipolar madman and after he broke up with you, his bipolarity has increased. Now it's Domyoji 24 hours a day, perhaps if he agrees to see you, it's because he's planning to stick a knife in your back.”  Nino laughed at my expression of horror and stood up.  "We'll try to keep you safe, so J doesn’t kill you. Now I must go, my meeting awaits me, Sho-chan.”
.
“Okay, Nino.”  I followed him to the door.  “If Jun doesn’t want, don’t insist, it is not that I want to ask him to come back, it is just to see him.”
.
“Don’t worry, I'll try.”  Ninomiya smiled and gave me a big hug. “Thanks for the lunch.”
.
"Is okay, good luck in your meeting, Ninomi.”  I said as a farewell.
.
.
After a few days, I came home after a work meeting. After taking a shower, I prepared to listen to the messages on the answering machine, surprising myself when I heard a voice message from Nino.
.
Hi Sho-chan. Good news... J agreed to see you. I told him to meet the five of us, as before, it would be a good opportunity to file off with you and he seemed pleased... in two days it's my day off, so I hope that night you're not busy, we'll meet in J's apartment at nine. We'll talk about it tomorrow. Ja ne.”
.
I smiled like an idiot after the recording ended... I couldn’t believe that Jun had agreed to see me, after all this time, and so many problems.
.
Things would seem to be going well again.

.
I was nervous.
.
I squeezed the wine bottle in my hands tightly as I waited for the door to open. I looked at my wristwatch and sighed, it was barely 9:15, I didn’t want to look like a desperate person, but who did I want to fool? I was eager to see Jun.
.
As the door opened, the smiling face of Aiba-chan looked behind it, he smiles widened and stepped aside to let me pass.
.
“Sho-chan! Finally, you got here.”  he said giving me a big hug.  “You don’t know how happy this meeting makes me, I had time without seeing them all together.”
.
"I'm very excited to see you guys.”  I said, corresponding to his embrace, looking slyly at the room, but I couldn’t see anything. I only listened to the voices of Nino and Ohno.
.
“Come on, come on... the boys are waiting for you.”   Aiba stepped away from me and took my hand, making my way to the living room, lightly jumping as I walked. “Guys, Sho's here.”   He announced.
.
Nino and Satoshi turned to see me, both crouched in front of the huge plasma, apparently looking for something to put on the DVD player.
.
“Hi, Sho.”  Nino said with a smile.
.
“Sho-chan, welcome.”  Ohno stood up and hugged me.  “At last, all together, as it should have always been.”
.
"Time without seeing you, Sho."  I heard a deep voice behind me.
.
I had to hold the bottle of wine with strength, because I felt I was going to drop it by the hubbub of emotions I felt inside me at that time. The boys had been silent, expectant, watching everything in detail.
.
"A lot of time, Jun."  I muttered in response as I turned to him, feeling my heart beating so hard that it threatened to leave my chest at any moment. He was incredibly attractive. He had a white shirt, blue jeans, a black cardigan and a cap of the same color. He was leaning on his crutches and gave a slow smile that made me faint.
.
Now, seeing him in front of me, I realized how much I had missed him.
.
How could I have betrayed him?
.
“You brought wine.”  He said, still smiling.  “You shouldn’t, really...”
..
“Oh, please, I just wanted to be polite.”
.
“With us? For God's sake, Sho. Leave that there and go to the couch, we'll see some movies and we'll order something for dinner. Don’t you have any commitments today?”  the boys continued in silence, watching us from milestone to milestone.
.
“Not at all.”   I shook my head and Jun smiled again.
.
“Excellent.”
.
That had been the best night I'd had in a long time, being close to the boys, being able to talk to Jun, being close to him, joking with him as before, were things he really missed, and being able to live them again, it was simply incredible. We had ordered Chinese food and had seen an action movie; And even, Jun had sat beside me on the couch for the whole evening, making me feel so much happier.
When we saw the second movie, I went to the kitchen to make some popcorn, surprised to encounter Jun. He opened the refrigerator and took out a can of soda.
.
“Were you thirsty? You should have told me and I would have taken you.”
.
“Don’t worry, I didn’t want to bother you...”  he answered as he opened the can and took a sip.
.
“You never bother me, Jun. By the way...”  I approached him and sighed. “I want to thank you for... accepting this, for allowing me to be here, to forgive me and to let us getting along as before. This was what I most wanted and...”
.
Jun's laughter interrupted me, it was a coarse, dry laugh, without a hint of humor.
.
“Who told you that I forgave you?”   He asked, raising an eyebrow.
.
“But, you... and I... we were talking and joking all night. And...”
.
“Sho, because I'm treating you well in front of the guys, doesn’t mean I forgave you. I’m doing this because, unfortunately, when I recover and return to work I must see you, so the best thing for me is to get used to it again. But I haven’t forgiven you, and I will not do it yet.”  I looked at him with wide eyes, totally amazed. “What did you think? Did you think I was going to forgive you for simply bringing a bottle of wine and coming to my house as if nothing happened? For your little adventure of a night with this woman, I almost lost my life, besides, I still feel like shit about that, do you think you deserve to be forgiven? Because I don’t believe it at all.”
.
When he said that, he left the kitchen, leaving me alone, totally confused, dejected and much sadder than before, when I realized that he was absolutely right. And now more than ever I wanted his forgiveness, because that night, seeing him by my side I had realized that despite this time without seeing him, despite the suffering and problems I wanted him back in my life.
.
Because now, I loved him much more than before.
